Primary responsibilities
The screening solutions team members perform a variety of tasks related to the adjudication of backgrounds, risk mitigation, and field education/supportThe current scope of the screening solutions team is oversight with infomart and other vendors, backgrounds for rgs and sfn lines of business due to the integrations and bulk processing that lends itself to high volumeIn order to expand into oversight with other screening vendors/platforms and all strategic accounts, additional team members are needed to expand the scopeThe duties of the specialist will include adjudication, documentation, field support & education, reporting, and exceptions handling.
Talent onboarding solutions is responsible for supporting randstad’s talent screening program, which includes background & drug screening, field inquiries, internal auditing, and escalation as neededThe position reports to team lead and the randstad onshore/offshore manager as per business needsOnboarding solutions and will interact with all levels of the field and corporate organization leverages/consults resources when making decisions, leveraging resources such as legal, and will escalate concerns to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and internal policies and procedures
Elevate onshore screening specialist role to drive compliance initiatives, manage field accountability for fcra actions, develop solutions to mitigate risk, expand coverage of all contract client adjudications, and misdemeanor reviews.
Reduce risk exposure: each week, the scorecard provides data on non-compliant issuesThe screening analyst is not currently following up on those issues to ensure completion, field education, or corrective actionLegal costs to address eeoc and fcra claims over the last 5 years are nearly $500k, but the potential of any single claim can be millions.
Expand adjudication coverage: of 239 infomart client packages, only 49% are reviewed at the fsc on behalf of the client criteriaOf the 51% reviewed in the field, we are only receiving limited requests for fcra action and have zero visibility into the outcomes of field adjudication to ensure the law is being followedThe proposed expansion to 100% of contract customer reviews will close the gap on the field’s non-compliance.
Field accountability for fcra: currently, we only track the adverse action issued on needs approval backgrounds from infomartExpanding to misdemeanor reviews.
Required skills
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in hr, compliance, screening, us onboarding and or other related experience
Highly proficient in use of microsoft excel
Knowledge of randstad operations and systems is an asset
