The risk and insurance specialist role is responsible for supporting the mycoi sales teams throughout the sales process by maintaining up-to-date knowledge on key trends and insights related to commercial insurance and risk management and becoming an expert with mycoi software to support the education, and mitigate risk, for our prospects and clientsDay to day, this role partners with the sales team demonstrating our software, identifying, and helping clients understand and mitigate risk exposure, how they address the gray areas of insurance and understanding how clients would like to progress on their insurance tracking processes.

Essential responsibilities/what you will do:
Support account executives throughout the rfp process
Develop and refine sales messaging, obtaining strong product knowledge, and identifying key deal-closing criteria
Meet and exceed both qualitative and quantitative sales goals on a consistent basis
Build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers in a prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional manner
Provide key insights on the sales teams’ forecasted opportunities and pipeline
Accurately manage prospect, client contracts, logging call information, setting up demonstration dates, and updating profile activity within the crm
Travel responsibilities: no travel required.
Basic qualifications/what you bring to the role
Basic commercial insurance and risk knowledge
Experience with commercial real estate, construction, property management and/or insurance brokerage preferred
Confidence with contracts language to advise sales team members and help customers understand their exposure to mitigate risk
Ability to gain deep understanding of mycoi’s software product to participate in demonstrations confidently
Comfort and confidence presenting/speaking virtually with prospects and customers at all levels including c-suite
Project management skills to multi-task in a very fast-paced, scaling organization poised for incredible growth.
Comfort working within crm’s and basic office tools (ms suite, slack, google, etc.)
Ability to work from home
Bachelor’s degree in an insurance/risk management program or related certifications preferred, but not required
