About the position this role is the primary it contact for p&c solutions product and operations teamsThis role will help setup the it operations organization and will be the primary contact to resolve the l2 and l3 ticketsThis role will span across all product lines under p&c solutions and will liaise with business operations l1 and l2 teams and will also liaise with the product engineering it squads to ensure all tickets are resolved within slasThis role will help establish and monitor slas, processes and guidelines to ensure quality of service deliveryThis role will publish periodic service delivery reports to concerned business owners and/or product ownersThis role will require working with an extended global it team along with tier 1 it vendors also located across the globeYour responsibilities include:
Be the single point of contact for it operations for all products under p&c solutions
Drive and manage service quality for various p&c products and implement improvement of service delivery processes where needed.
Continually identify ways to reduce cost while delivering on service commitments
Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
Ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery
Develop a deep understanding of projects to gain insights into the scope of service deliveryUnderstand customer requirements and business opportunity / requirements identification, guidance, support and closure
Take accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand
Manage cost for the operations team, participate in annual strategy for the operations team
Ensure positive customer satisfaction and customer relationship is maintained
Manage subcontractors / third party providers in the operations teams
Provide technical support and participate in the change control board and/or change control process
Provide leadership and direction for the operations teams across products
Drive/participate and coordinate crisis management
Qualifications experience required
University degree in computer sciences or similar it related fields
8 + years experience in service delivery management
Itil & pmp certification preferred
In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to service delivery
Proficiency in leading both physical and virtual teams and operational ability in a diverse, large-scale environment
Experience in dealing with third party-provided services
Exceptional customer-facing skills
Ability to handle day-to-day operations from it perspective spanning multiple products with applications support.
Preparing and tracking yearly budget and proper cost allocation for it services.
Strong analytical skills, and address problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others.
Expertise in people management and leadership
Strong organizational skills
Capacity to train and guide junior team members
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
Good communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills
Proven experience in collaborating and working with global business stakeholders.
Prior experience working in an insurtech, insurance and/or product development organization a plus
Prior it development or devops background preferred
