We are looking for an enthusiastic technical sales executive to join our sales teamIn this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relationsYou should have strong knowledge of technical and scientific products, a passion for sales, and the ability to travel.
Job description: the role of a technical sales executive is to promote and sell company products by demonstrating the advanced technical functions of the product as well as its uses and benefits.
Roles and responsibilities:
Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations
Sourcing potential new customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers
Maintaining strong customer relations.
Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.
Understanding and interpreting technical requirements
Providing technical information
Travelling to demonstrate products and educating potential customers/clients about the functions of the product and product range.
Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.
Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.
Drive business by understanding the needs of the client and providing them with the right product choices
Fully understanding customer’s/clients’ needs and requirements
Providing advice about the advantages of particular software, services, equipment or products
Advising customers of updates and new technologies
Being familiar with competitors` activities and products
Attending product training courses and seminars.
Travelling to and attending meetings
Meeting sales and commission targets.
Skills and requirements:
Master’s degree in business administration or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
Strong knowledge of scientific and technical products.
Professional and friendly demeanor.
Basic knowledge of computer systems and office software.
Ability to meet sales and commission targets.
Ability to travel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
Knowledge of sales promotion techniques
Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance
Ability to deal with pressure
