Global deal desk team
Your mission: zuora is looking for a customer-centric attitude and appreciation for working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with cross functional teams in our quote-to-cash process with emphasis on quoting, order management, and provisioning.
The opportunity
The desired candidate, preferably with > 6 years experience in deal desk, experienced in the implementation of quoting tools, order management and provisioning, thrives in an environment where uncertainty is common and is skilled in bridging business and sales needsThis position will play a key role to improve our existing quoting application, and represent our deal desk team to start our corporate initiative for implementing cpq x.
This is to optimize and scale our team, deal desk and provisioning, for efficiency through automation.

Independently scope deal desk`s essential elements to ease our quoting systems and execute project work with minimum oversight to meet goals identified by management
Represent our team to lead the implementation on one of our corporate initiatives, cpq x.
To collaborate with our global services sales team to effectively coordinate and process month and quarter end deal closure
Develop relevant cross-functional relationships to understand our products, improve usability of our internal quoting tools in salesforce, and collaborate with our product and support team on providing timely provisioning status for revenue recognition.
Create sales enablement materials to train account executives on best practices for our internal tools from quoting to delivering executable order form (of).
Representing the deal desk team for internal training our account executives in utilizing our quoting tools.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and with our auditors on our order management, i.eOrders validation before passing on billing.
Ensure timely delivery of compliance, provisioning sla to zuora`s customers, the account executives, and relevant functional teams.
Management of provisioning team based in india.
Aligning, and partnering our provisioning team with products, support organizations, and sales to provide timely activation per the executed order form
Skills set and experience: salesforce.com (sfdc) users experience and reporting, clari users experience and reporting - desired but not a necessity.
What you`ll achieve
Leading cpq x, collaborating with functional teams, and our business technology group (bt) in our quote-to-order
Improvements and strengthening our provisioning workflow and supporting sales, and functional teams
Represent and interface with our bt for users` testing on current quoting tool, and implementation of our future quoting tool
Interface and work with our order management team
We are embarking on building and implementing zuora-on-zuora (zoz) in our quote to cash suite of applications all the way through billing, provisioning, revenue recognition governed by asc 606 to collect.
At the deal desk organization, we will define, and build using zuora cpq x for our internal quoting tool.
While we are using our existing quoting tool, you will be leading and working with your manager, and the functional teams to implement cpq x.
Your skills set and experience of quoting and deal`s structuring will be a key advantage to achieve this project and be successful.
Our provisioning team has its own area of improvements, ranging from our central platform to various components that are embedded in our applications.
To project on time allocation, you will spend in your effort and focus in the following range in your area of responsibility:
Cpq x, uat, and testing on current quoting tools or related tools that require deal desk`s engagement: ~40% range
Provisioning team management, and improvements in this area: ~30%
Collaborate with the order management team for processing our order forms & professional services sow: ~20%
Working and interface with our auditors: ~10%

Having deal desk experience, and understanding deal structuring
