Ygrene energy fund’s clean energy financing is introduced to property owners through licensed home and commercial improvement contractorsOur compliance team is accountable to ensure the quality and integrity of the program, both for our contractor participants and internal operationsThe compliance team is also responsible for handling and responding to consumer complaints.
Compliance manager duties and responsibilities:
Develop and oversee contractor compliance control systems to prevent or respond to violations by contractor partners of legal guidelines and procedural policies associated with pace financing as serviced through ygrene energy fund.
Develop and oversee the consumer complaint process to respond and address consumer complaints meeting internal and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the contractor registration and onboarding process through effective collaboration with our regional account managers.
Evaluate the efficiency of compliance controls and improve them continuously in collaboration with applicable department personnel and management.
Collaborate with management to ensure identified critical risks are managed through the control systems.
Revise procedures, reports, etcPeriodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
Collaborate with corporate counsels to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
Generate and present reports to senior management, service partners, funders, and other business partners, providing supportive analysis and recommendations.
Provide support to contractor partners to ensure continued compliance with standards and policies.
Analyze feedback gathered from regional account managers, contractor partners, and other business partners to inform improvements to ygrene systems and the contractor’s online portal.
Category i: 60% of time spent
Oversight of the compliance team working with the members to support efficiency through process or providing direction on specific topics.
Monitor implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and processes and provide feedback to the compliance director about their efficacy and performance.
Category ii: 30% of time spent
Provide support to other business units by attending meetings to share appropriate compliance related information and viewpoint on initiatives.
Monitor compliance team performance to ensure they are meeting regulatory deadline and other requirements.

Other duties as assigned: 10%

Compliance manager skills and experience: *
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in residential and commercial lending or banking with proven compliance management experience
Knowledge of pace lending standards a plus.
Strong workflow and management skills to develop efficiency of the review process
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for the complexities of procedures and regulations
Intermediate to advanced excel skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment
Strong influence management and communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills including time management, prioritization and attention to detail
Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
Ability to self-start, take initiative, and act upon decisions
Work environment and *physical demands:
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and filing cabinets.
Work environment is indoors with majority of time spent sitting at a desk.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are monday through friday, 8 a.mTo 5 p.m.
Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
No travel is expected for this position.
