Essential requirements:
1Skilled at executing documented actions in a technical area, including integration, configuration and validationDocuments procedures for review and approval by management.
2Analyze and resolve complex problems around critical application.
3Determines, develops and maintains best solutions to problems with limited direction.
4Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve internal and external customer issues and may communicate status related to such collaborationMakes recommendations on solutions and / or technical directionWork with other engineers
To complete project deadlines and technical projects.
5Mentors lower level engineers on development and implementation.

Desired qualifications:
Strong people and presentation skills
Strong ability to work complex problems, evaluate information and arrive at creative solutions
Experience with open ldap or sunone ldap
Solid unix shell and perl scripting skills
Solid sql skills - direct experience with oracle or mysql a plus
6-years experience with linux, sun solaris, or other unix systems
Ability to work across different organizations within the company
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Act as first level support between user organizations for support of the operational support systems.
Support and maintain a variety of applications
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Ability to manage major projects
Rotating on-call afterhours support
Provide regular detailed updates to management
Provide a clear and concise line of communication to management
Interact often with managers from other groups
Provide updates and present information to senior management when needed
Work directly with vendors
Read and assimilate admin guides and manuals and present that information to other groups
Organize and lead regular cross-organizational meetings

Job requirements
Minimum requirements:
College degree in engineering or a related field and 5-7 years professional level experience with 0-2 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 9 years professional level related engineering/technical experience with 0-2 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related engineering/technical experience required.
