Job description
In this position the individual will coordinate various projects, products, and other strategic initiatives across an organization.
Have a deep understanding of organizational strategies and goals gained through the processes of project and portfolio management
Identify gaps in the business and advice on the corrective actions necessary
Enable innovation and creativity to develop new winning strategies
Ensure monitoring and control of project execution performance; developing project management methodologies; implementing professional ppm tools; coordinating program and portfolio management; facilitating and improving strategic project management; optimizing resource across projects
Work with cross-functional teams in project management activities driving execution of requirements and ensuring the project is delivered on schedule
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; report and escalate to management as needed
Other responsibilities will include running cross functional meetings with internal and external 3rd party suppliers or partners, managing operational, supply-chain, quality and cost aspects of the program
Develop and maintain program development kpis/metrics/dashboards across all flash products (cash curve, gross margin, product/program development costs etc.)
Effectively propagate change management across the flash organization
Working knowledge on non-volatile storage technologies such as flash is a big plus
Qualifications
Program management experience is required
Familiarity with erp/plm tools such as sap, agile or other equivalent.
Proficiency with microsoft excel and other ms office tool
Typically requires 5-10+ years experience in npi program management/operations management.
Self-motivated, significant, results and detail focused, leadership experience required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to management.
Ability to drive solutions across multiple cross-functional teams, and the supply chain
Mba is a plus
