Sam’s club offers highly curated assortment of items, in addition to building and leading technologies and services like scan & go, club pickup and home delivery service in select marketsSam’s club also offers specialty services, including travel, auto buying, pharmacy, optical, hearing aid centres, tire and battery centres and a portfolio of business operations support services

Our team is a part of sam’s club customer experience team @walmart global techOur team is chartered with building services to facilitate a customer`s entire shopping journey from shopping cart to order placementTeam is currently working on re-building complete service layer that manages shopping cart, checkout and order placement process from scratchThe new architecture needs to beat the performance of current services at the load of 5000+ order per minute.

Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting multi-billion-dollar business.
Interact with walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech communityEngage with product management and business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome productsYou will work closely with business team to understand the requirements, drive design, architecture and influence the choice of technology to deliver solution working closely with senior architects and leadership teamJoin our young, highly energetic and dynamic team, and take part in defining the new age e-commerce and shopping experienceYou will also have challenging opportunities to cross-collaborate with inter-disciplinary product and engineering teams to solve some of the unique challenges in multi-channel shopping experience.
Position requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
Engineering with 14 to 22 yrsOf experience or master’s degree with a minimum 12 yrsOf experience in cs/cse or related field.
Candidate must be expert in designing and architecting small to large solution using appropriate design patterns
Candidate must be advanced in problem solving skills using advance algorithm
Candidate must be well versed with java and advanced java features
Candidate must have hands on sql or no sql technologies
Candidate must be willing to inspire by vision and stick to organisation goals
Candidate must be well versed with design pattern and object-oriented programming
Candidate must have experience on working on large volume system with scale
Exposure to spark, hadoop and hive is plus
Experience in handling complex production issues
Experience in newer spring boot or any good framework
Experience in data science is plus
