The cra compliance analyst will assist the cra/fair lending compliance managerThe cra compliance analyst will be responsible for managing cra data processes including validating cra eligible activities, creating analytic reports, and managing data quality controlThe position will assist with acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources, reviewing transaction documentation for data accuracy and creating and validating management reportsThe cra compliance analyst position will also assist in maintaining databases, interpreting data, and analyzing results using statistical methodsAlong with the key functions listed, each position will be expected to uphold the value that washington federal places on simply being nice when servicing our co-workers and washington federal clients.
Review community development loans, investments, grants and services for cra eligibility.
Compile bank records of cra activities, including community development lending, small business/small farm lending, bank services and bank investments.
Ensure accurate data collection and participate in data quality control process for cra reporting and examinations
Provides guidance to the bank`s first line of defense (flod) in relation to cra data collections, tracking, and reporting software systems, and generation of the cra loan application register (lar) detailing small business, small farm, and community development loan data
Obtain system loan reports to identify loans for cra review and data validation.
Review and maintain sharepoint site for cra volunteer service hoursDetermine hours that are cra qualified, maintain documentation for cra qualified hours.
Review monthly loan reports, identify and qualify community development loansMaintain documentation to prove qualification.
Review bank sponsorship and donation accounts to identify any cra qualified amountsInclude in cra investment folders.
Update software systems including cra wiz and rata as needed for changes to assessment areas and/or census updates.
Follow the bank`s information security policies, ensuring that the processing and handling of all client information and confidential bank information is done in a secure manner and environment.
Support fair lending initiatives of the bank as neededThis may include assisting in file review and updating fair lending methodologies under the direction of the cra and fair lending compliance manager.
Bachelor`s degree in a business or finance related field preferable and one-two years of related experience and/or training, or approved equivalent.
Intermediate experience, knowledge, and training in all operational lending activities and terminology.
Knowledge of related bank operational policies and procedures and bank products and services.
Intermediate-level knowledge of the community reinvestment act.
Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Service-oriented attitude and attentive customer relation skills.
Computer proficiency with basic business applications is required.
Understanding and experience in the loan underwriting and credit analysis preferred.
Proven ability to effectively train and instruct others in a formal classroom setting or in a one-on-one environment preferred.
