About this role:

In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required qualifications, international
10+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

8+ years of strong experience in apache spark and core java programming language including java full stack, react js, servlets, jsp, struts, spring, hibernate and web services
Must ha ve hands-on knowledge with in core java development experience (specifically on stand-alone java applications, server side programming) using collections, multithreading etc.
Lead from the front in the architecture, design and development of complex solutions for the project
Must have hands-on experience of bigdata / nosql (hdfs, hive, hbase, drill)
Good understanding of data lake, data warehouse and etl pipelines
Exposure to cloud computing - gcp, azure, aws
Experience with dev ops build tools like jenkins, udeploy toad, sql loader, postgresql, gradle, maven, ant, rtc, rsa, control-m, oozie, hue, soap ui
Experience of logical and physical data modelling, k nowledge and understanding of relational database designing schema, stored procedures, and views for performance with large data sets
Apply knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies - agile development projects
