About the role
The data management consultant will support the epic operational, governance and oversight processesEpic is the enterprise party identification and consolidation master system, which currently provides the common unique id across all platforms for all entities or persons, which interact with wells fargo & coThe consultant will work with our internal partners to help maintain hierarchies and general indicative attributes for each individual record, as well as testing, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance of existing party attributes, leveraged by corporate function groups, such as risk and regulatory reporting as well as other data aggregation teams within the enterprise to assist with consistent reporting.
The candidate will also support other reference data projects as needed by the wft foundational data and dmi enterprise data aggregation capabilities teams to ensure efficient processes and procedures involving data and data maintenance.
Responsibilities
The consultant will work with our internal partners to help maintain party hierarchies and general indicative attributes for each individual party record.
Responsible for creating and performing manual user acceptance and regression testing within the epic system, party data cleanup, and ongoing maintenance of existing party attributes, leveraged by corporate function groups, such as risk and regulatory reporting as well as other data aggregation teams within the enterprise to assist with consistent reporting.
Act as a process lead or consultant to assist with manual clean-up efforts within epic and at the source system(s) pertaining to the data populations that partners consume from epic
Research and analyze party data gaps and discrepancies that can affect risk and regulatory reporting
Write desktop procedures for the operations team
Candidate will be required to run semi-automated data quality checks to pull in and resolve party data issues.
Familiarity with creating trend and root cause analysis on test output
Create reports for data issues to describe to peers & management
Essential qualifications
Overall experience of 6+ years 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality, data analysis demonstrated through work or military experience 2 years of experience solving problems with customer/party data 2 years of experience in operations
Desired qualifications
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment strong understanding of hierarchical relationships within a data set ability to comprehend data and remediate issues 1-2 years working with financial industry regulatory reporting 1-2 years writing operational guidelines/procedures
On-the-job working familiarity with sql
Work shift timings will be form 1:30 pm ist to 10:30 pm ist
