Specific tasks:
Identify and prioritise potential growth areas including new product strategies
Pre-plan weekly activities
Divide territory into geographically sound areas and manage time effectively
Maintain a prospects list and customer contact database
Analyze the sales figures provided and know the business
Prioritize key accounts within each product portfolio
Focus on the sales and marketing goals set by leadership
Identify decision makers and build relationships here
Support at industry meetings and other projects
Attend and advise in formal planning processes
Understand the main thrust of the company, marketing and sales plans and develop territory plans
Review territory plans on a timely basis and adjust as required
Support company decisions, standards, goals and objectives
Demonstrate active participation in cross functional teams and accept delegated responsibility
Propose innovative and creative ideas and participate in the implementation of new processes and procedures that improve individual and team performance
Support new product introductions and provide feedback to leadership

Utilize a recognized sales method for influencing customers to purchase
Customer visits have clear and measurable objectives
Identify customer needs and develop appropriate strategies
Provide in-servicing and education of customers on products (this may also require night work)
Track and monitor purchase commitment with effective follow through
Undertake field visits within territory and maintain regular contact and report weekly
Maintain an effective activity with face to face customer interactions
Utilize support material for own education and learn the products
Participate in “on call” roster
Maintain high standard of sales activity and work within the hours set on the employee contract
Travel and participate in all company training or sales meetings as requested
Promote products to end users to ensure positive outcomes on tender work with other team members
Develop and implement tender strategies including reference sites
Maintain awareness of tender timetables
Report competitor activity
Identify, develop and maintain relationship with key influencers
Understand different personalities and sell appropriately
Forecast new and lost business to wider team
Undertake market research or new product evaluation as requested
Maintain and control company assets
Update and maintain demo stock list
Adhere to sampling process and batch tracking
Prepare and submit routine administrative tasks (eg: expenses).
Set quarterly sales plans by product and by account
Provide requested routine reports to leadership

To be successful, you will need:
Proficient in microsoft applications and systems (i.e., word, excel, powerpoint, salesforce.com.)
Have a sales mindset and track record of winning sales
Be highly organized and self-disciplined
Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, pay attention to detail, and prioritize.
Ability to successfully interact with customers over the phone and in-person.
Ability to work positively and constructively in a team environment

Self-motivated and able to work autonomously to achieve activity and sales goals.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree(possible nursing)
3 years sales experience.
Ability to travel 1-3 times per yearThis may be interstate or overseas.
