The marketing specialist-program management is responsible for managing, coordinating, and executing project support for global marketing activities regarding budgets, m&a and other initiativesThis role will entail a wide range of workstreams and tasks including hands-on work, detailed development of files and data, communication, and collaboration in a matrixed environmentThis role will deliver budget works starting from requesting and processes through reconciliations and reporting, and the development, tracking, and reporting for various marketing tasks aligned with teams and leaders in conjunction with business integrations resulting from verint acquisitions.
Principal duties and essential responsibilities:
Maintain working knowledge of verint’s systems, processes and policies for procurement of services or products.
Provide training and assistance on creation of requisitions, the associated approval processes, and receiving of requisitions.
Hold regular checkpoints with our procurement team to review current requisitions and submissions on the horizon.
Coordinate and communicate with marketing colleagues as well as our partners in finance, legal, audit, and corporate m&a program management.
Drive meetings and conclusions for budget submissions.
Develop various budget files and follow methods for archiving data.
Track and communicate critical path tasks in a predictive and timely manner to reduce risks and accomplish business goals.
Assist with establishing overall budget project schedules; and review the overall budget management aspects consistently to adjust schedule, evaluate scope, modify resource allocations and plan as needed.
Prepare project status reports and executive summaries for the team.
Assist with the annual budgeting process, working with finance on budgetary needs in marketing in advance of allocation determinations, modeling the allocated amounts to guide allocations across the marketing team, and updating allocations though the year as necessary.
Assist with project coordination and status reporting for cross-functional marketing projects including post-acquisition marketing integrationUse wrike as the primary tool to manage integration projects.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Five years experience in project management and or project coordination for cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention-to-detail and follow up.
Ability to manage tasks according to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
Consistent ability to deliver timely, high-quality results.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Proficient in microsoft office, especially excel.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, ofac, ss verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
