Job summary:
The compliance analyst provides project management and compliance program development support for vail resort’s corporate compliance functionThis position reports to the director of compliance and works with a diverse group of stakeholders to implement programs that mitigate legal and compliance risks and enhance the company’s ethical cultureCore responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of the company’s records management program and support of a broad range of corporate compliance and ethics programs, including but not limited to, policy management, the company hotline, conflicts of interest processes and risk assessment support.
Job responsibilities:
Provides support to the ongoing planning, prioritization and management of corporate compliance projects and programs.
Manages day-to-day aspects of the records management program including execution of records intake, quality control checks and annual destruction proceduresSupport development of records management program policies, systems and processes.
Triage company’s ethics helpline intake and ethics questions, as required.
Assists with development and management of compliance reporting processes including helpline reporting, ethics and compliance training tracking and reporting and compliance scorecard development.
Builds compliance systems and processes to manage compliance with key programs such conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment and fcpa.
Supports development of legal and compliance policies and procedures.
Performs research to support new compliance program initiatives and assist in monitoring regulatory changes that impact operations.
Assists in monitoring effectiveness of compliance program elements.
Supports corporate compliance vendor relationship management, budget tracking and invoicing.
Supports compliance training and communication material development, as required.
Job qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in compliance, risk, audit, consulting, project management or change management.
Experience managing records management programs.
Experience in supporting an ethics, compliance or auditing program function.
Experience in auditing, assessing and prioritizing risks (preferred).
Experience in project management or change management (preferred).
Experience using policy management systems a plus (e.gPolicytech)
Experience with excel and ability to conduct data analysis is required.
Ability to work with external vendors and across multiple stakeholder groups.
Ability to follow through on issues in a timely, and if needed, persistent manner, troubleshooting and escalating issues as appropriate
Advanced office 365 skills (excel,powerpoint, word, sharepoint, visio and shartsheets a plus)
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
The budgeted range starts at $50,000 - $60,900Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
