As the executive assistant supporting the vice president of design, you will own a range of administrative and executive support related tasks and work independently within established guidelinesYou will also need to make decisions in planning, organizing and scheduling various meetings and projectsA high level of integrity and confidentiality is crucial.
You will have exposure to project management opportunities working closely with the leadership team and chief of staff.
What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months?
From day 1, you will schedule and manage demanding outlook calendars, prioritize and resolve schedule conflicts, handle scheduling challenges arising from urgent requests from c-level staff and external customers/partners.
Within the first 30 days, you will liaise with senior level executives, including c-level executives and their assistants throughout vmware to understand internal process and procedures.
What type of work will you be doing? what assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Coordinate domestic and international travel & complete expense reports in a timely manner.
Provide support to vps direct reports when needed.
Coordinate meetings/calls with external customers/partners and their executive assistants
Schedule team offsite meetings
Play an active role in event and conference planning egShape – internal design conference.
Prepare minutes and agendas for staff meetings.
Update internal resources and confluence pages as required.
Discretion, diplomacy and excellent judgment; high degree of integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Where is the role located?
Flexible: the location of this role is flexible within the united statesWork will be done from an office some days during a week and other days from a non-vmware building.
