The solutions marketing manager is responsible for maximizing revenue through strategic and creative inputs, aligning what we sell to solve our clients’ challenges in the digital spaceThis role connects marketing, product strategy, operations and the sales organization, creating recommendations and solutions for our clientsThe solutions marketing team also shapes our go-to-market strategy and execution based on market demands and the needs of the sales orgIn this role, the expectation will be to have a deep understanding of vdx.tv’s products and solutions and to translate these into compelling stories and collateral to inspire advertisers.

Provide support for pre-sale related functions, including creating prospecting materials
Collaborate with and support the sales and vertical (industry specific) teams to develop strategic solutions for well-known brands and create presentations and proposals that identify the client’s challenge and solves it in a compelling way
Create content that addresses market challenges and positions
Vdx.tv as a buyable solution (exOne sheeters, case studies, mini-decks, product marketing)
Work with sales teams internally to ensure best practices are being met, information is being shared and distributed, and that industry knowledge is a constant part of the sales team’s resources
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as marketing, creative strategy, product and account managers
Be an integral part of vertical teams (likely travel and consumer goods) to fully understand the industry, and develop vertical specific collateral and solutions for clients
As part of this role, you will get exposure to other departments, learning the different facets of pre and post-saleYou will receive cross-functional training, and work with the creative services, account management, and performance strategy teamsYou will build a well-rounded portfolio of skills that will position you for success for a diverse set of career pathways within the company.
3+ years in working for an advertising agency in a media role or sales planning experience for a digital advertising company
Knowledge of media and the digital landscape
An understanding of the client mindset
Passion for coming up with new ideas and solutions, and bringing them to life
Results-orientated: must have the ability to focus on project goals and meet objectives within a time frame.
Able to multi-task and work across various projects at once
Excellent communication skills, written and orally
A genuine intention to work cooperatively with others; the desire to be a part of a team and contribute to organizational and team goals
Above average powerpoint skills; design skills is ideal.
