The vice president of marketing is an exciting new role that is responsible for leading market strategy and execution of a new marketing function for the sca enterprise as well as for sca’s more than 250 facility partnerships and its emerging business lines – optum specialty practices, surgical management solutions, and globalone.
This role will establish comprehensive goals for performance and growth and serve as a key member of sca’s leadership team, reporting to the presidentThe vp of marketing will partner and align with enterprise functions, including communications, events, clinical, operations, sales, finance, legal, human resources and support service functions.
Leads the development of an overall marketing strategy that will drive profitable growth of sca
Provides guidance and leadership to sca’s executive team, shares marketing knowledge and expertise with partners
Partner with and lead communications and events teams to develop and execute on a marketing plan and strategy
Working with business partners, gain a thorough understanding of the drivers of sca’s lines of business; understand its p&l, its strategic goals, and successfully lead the team to support the growth of the business.
Develop consistent and scalable marketing strategies for ascs and osp practices, providing content, strategies and budgeting while supporting execution by local teams
Develop and implement a consistent way to measure marketing impact and return on investment that can be utilized to compare investments and investment opportunities across sca’s diverse businesses
Leader the sca enterprise to prioritize where to invest marketing resources across the various business lines through a collaborate process
Provide strategy and tactical support to package, position and promote sca’s businesses working with and through vendor partners and marketing resources
Drive the annual long-term planning process for sca’s marketing team to create the investment plan for the next 2 – 3 years tied to the goals and priorities of sca’s business
Recruit, hire, and grow marketing talent to join the sca team
Develop and manage the appropriate level of resource investment to meet objectives, goals, and budget; accountable for driving to target outcomes within identified budget

12+ years of experience as a business marketing executive
5+ years of consumer marketing experience
Experience as a marketing executive in a healthcare related business line
Experience leading teams in an integrated, omni-channel business-building strategies and campaigns.
Marketing experience within a surgical related field
