Ucfs is currently seeking a remote, full-time (40 hours) epic ehr support analyst to support all end-users of the electronic health record (ehr), practice management system (pm) and other associated clinical it systems, act as the liaison between ucfs, end users and the vendor and aid with ongoing implementation and optimization of the ehr, pm and other systemsThe ehr support analyst will be responsible for efficient and effective development, maintenance, and delivery of content specific ehr training programsThe ehr support analyst will work within a participative culture to ensure the systems process is aligned with the organization’s strategic goalsThe site specialist should work collaboratively and effectively while ensuring timely follow up and communication to both internal and external customers
Essential responsibilities –
Collaborate and demonstrate leadership in the ongoing implementation, optimization and maintenance of the ehr, pm and associated systems, including end user support, vendor management, project management.
Train clients and employees in the use of ehr, pm and other related software via remote and onsite training.
Develops a deep understanding of the clinical and department workflows and assimilates that knowledge with the ehr/pm features that functions as a foundation for creating and delivering successful training programs.
Perform workflow analysis and develop ehr based workflows during the implementation and training process.
Develop and maintain training program that supports onboarding new staff as well as maintaining system proficiencies with existing staffCoordinate logistics associated with education events and departmental meetings as neededMaintain training administrative records for all modalities, content and attendance.
Participate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new application modules and enhancements to existing applications.
In collaboration with the network and infrastructure it teams, manage all ehr, pm and associated system software upgrades and hotfixes, interfaces with healthcare vendors to exchange information electronically, including testing of such and communication of all changes to effected departments.
Partner and collaborate with ochin, it network/infrastructure department, super-users and the managers of each outpatient service to ensure functionality of the system is efficient and effective for each department’s workflows and processes.
Work professionally, collaboratively and effectively with all levels of the organization while fostering trust advisor relationships and cooperation of others while promoting a positive, participative culture and work environment.
Research, evaluate and make recommendations regarding the implementation, support and optimization of ehr, pm, related software applications, hardware and infrastructure.
Facilitate teams/workgroups to support the effective optimizations & utilization of the ehr, pm and associated systems to maximize benefits realization and interdepartmental coordination.
Monitor systems and address issue reported in work queues and ticketing system.
Ensure interdepartmental coordination of ehr, pm and associated systems on-going maintenance activities including software validation, content development, user acceptance testing, and business process re-engineering.
Participates in all safety programs which may include assignment to an emergency response team.
May perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems
Minimum of 1-3 years directly related applicable experience including clinical experience in a health it setting.
Strong understanding and adoption of both internal and external customer support skills
Exceptional communications, interpersonal relations, facilitation, and consultation skills
Moderate to advanced overall healthcare technology acumen
Natural leader and self-starter
Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to use own insured, reliable vehicle
Strongly desired:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with epic ambulatory ehr/pm software application.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with on-base document imaging system and/or rightfax
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with hl7 interfaces, crystal report writing
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ambulatory clinic operational workflows
Demonstrated experience with implementing and training of an ehr system.
Experience in a federally qualified health center environment
Experience administering atlassian/jira service desk and/or confluence
