Registration & database maintenance: ensure an efficient and effective registration experience for our participants by building thoughtful and logical registrations, supporting participants to register, and maintaining and updating participant accounts.
Reporting: make it possible for organizational leaders to make data-informed decisions and be responsive to constituent needs by ensuring enrollment data is accurate and up to date, able to provide real-time enrollment reports and other trends.
Customer service: serve as the voice of the urj for many program participants, providing high-quality and timely customer service by fielding phone calls and emails from participants, following through on inquiries, and resolving issues quickly.
Operations & administration: assist program and functional leaders and coordinate various logistical and administrative functions that keep our programs running smoothlyThis includes but is not limited to:
General project management to ensure successful and timely delivery of support services
Partner with payroll team to onboard and process payroll for event staff
Reconciliation and final billing of events in partnership with field staff and central accounting
Support routine communication production and distribution.
Support routine risk management actions
Focus on improvement: always asking the question, how can we be betterHow can we be more efficient and effective in the work we do? and thoughtfully presenting these ideas at the appropriate time for consideration.
College degree or relevant training required
2-3 years of relevant professional experience preferred
Experience working with international or domestic travel programs
Experience with sales and customer service
Ability to accurately manage and appropriate handle participant data, event revenue, expense, supply inventory, and travel details
Excellent writing and communication skills
Comfortable with technology, social media, and other creative tools
Proficiency in excel, word, outlook
Proficiency and/or comfort using databases such as cvent, campminder, and other off the shelf registration solutions
Previous experience with salesforce marketing cloud preferred
Proven ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to coordinate activities.
Ability to work independently or as a member of the team, ability to be detail-oriented and consistently accurate, ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment, and ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures.
Able to effectively work with peers as well as those more senior in support of business goals.
