The individual selected for this position...
Evaluates and advises on organization structures, methods and procedures.
Develops, analyzes and evaluates new or modified program/management policies, regulations, goals or objectives.
Conducts, supports, and reports to management administrative activities including contract management, budget formulation and oversight, and resource allocation.
Directs the work of the organization’s technical specialists, ensuring goals are met and that projects serve the needs of the organization.
Assists in all aspects of planning, preparation, and submission of the online biennial registration statement, which is to be submitted by practitioners who practice before the uspto in patent matters.
Develops procedures and systems for assessing the effectiveness of programs/management processes and analyses management information requirements.
Manages special projects for the organization, including complex automation development projects requiring direction from the business unit to the technical staff.
Consults with managers from the office of the chief information officer on strategic planning, budget and project staffing for oed projects.
Administers oed’s oedis system; which includes managing and overseeing internal system modules (application, registration, and discipline), external modules (practitioner, applicant, and public portals), and oedis internal and external usersResponsible for the design, development, implementation, administration, and monitoring of the oedis system and its components.
