This position is located in the office information technology (oit), it operations and services (itops), support systemsAs an it specialist (sysanalysis) you will serve as a senior it analyst to plan, coordinate, develop, improve and implement efficient and economical management of information systems in support of enterprise-wide activities.
This is a bargaining unit position.

Provide technical expertise and management on the implementation of assigned programs and projects.
Conduct applied and supporting research for management of information systems by meeting with functional specialist to determine needs.
Provide technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing client-level hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Oversee or conduct backup and recovery tasks.
Occasional travel - travel required up to 10% of the time.

Specialized experience includes establishing and maintaining a system or components of a system, including installing, configuring and updating hardware and software; implementing operational and technical security controls; analyzing the development of the integration testing, operations and maintenance of systems security; and reviewing directives, policies, programs, enterprise-wide functional user requirements and acquisitions strategies for program related issues to determine the implications in supporting information systems.
