Location: it dir office, accounting services, enterprise systems, pbas sustainment branch, ztcfc.
This job announcement may be used to fill similar positions on other teams in the it directorate.
Participates in test readiness reviews and briefs technical and non-technical staff and trains supporting analysts on the interrelationship of systems or subsystems and the detailed logic of each system.
Prepares system documentation for purposes of improving software development processes in accordance with acceptable industry standards and maintains status reports and prepares correspondence as necessary.
Ensures customer understanding through the preparation of technical guidance and training on software and computer use and capabilities.
Develops and/or employs tools and methods to track progress throughout the life cycle of the project and applies technical knowledge to ensure project schedules and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established milestones.
Communicates the organization?s mission, vision, and values to the team and ensures they are integrated into team goals, objectives, work plans, products and services.
Participates in the work of the team, coaches and facilitates the selection and application of problem solving techniques or work methods, and assists team in identifying solutions, priorities in and organizing to accomplish the work.
Balances workload by making adjustments to ensure full team participation, desired results are achieved and timely accomplishment of the work based on supervisor?s instructionsObserves training needs and relays needs and requests to the supervisor.
Provides feedback to leadership and stakeholders through appropriate reports, meetings, briefings, and information papers, both formally and informally and performs direct system reimbursement (dsr) analysis to perform customer billing.
Implements continuous review process to ensure rmf, fiscam, and fisma requirements are met to maintain system authority to operate (ato).
Occasional travel - you may be expected to travel for this position.

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (gs-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: servicing as a team lead analyzing functional/technical requirements of proposed or existing it systems to determine avenues of modification necessary to meet mission objectives; participating in systems requirement reviews/coordinates with customer/functional representatives to clarify requirements; preparing system change/programming specifications, and specifies programming instructions, inputs and outputs, structures, and other analytical products to document the functional/technical requirements; identifying alternative approaches to the design of current or proposed systems; identifying how system modifications or new systems affect current systems; preparing cost analysis; establishing target completion dates; and prioritizes proposed system changes or developments and it-related experience demonstrating attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving as described in the vacancy announcement.
Time-in-grade: current or former federal employees who have held a gs position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirementApplicant must have served 52 weeks as a gs-12 or higher grade in federal service.
