This position is part of the air force elements, u.sTransportation commandThe incumbent serves as the it asset manager, accountable for the acquisition and inventory of all hardware and software assets through their life-cycles.
This position is being filled under acqdemo direct hiring authority (dha) for non-acquisition positions involving 51% or more of time in direct support of acquisition positions within business and technical management professional career path.
As an it specialist (sysanalysis/plcypln) at the nh-2210-3 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Analyzing hardware and software usage and provides guidance and procedural policy on management of assets.
Establishing, maintaining, and certifying the organization`s hardware and software inventory records.
Ensuring financial improvement and audit readiness (fiar) policy compliance and effectiveness.
Establishing, populating, updating, and managing the configuration management (cm) database or similar tool.
Occasional travel - you may be expected to travel for this position.

One year of specialized experience as listed below equivalent to the federal service nh-02 or gs-11 grade level including experience gained in the private and/or military sector with knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the positionExperience must be reflected in your resumeSpecialized experience required for this position is:
Analyzing hardware and software usage and making recommendations.
Managing hardware and software assets throughout their life-cycles.
Certifying hardware and software inventory records.
Updating the configuration management (cm) database or use of a similar tool
