Position overview:
If you are looking for an exciting opportunity and challenge to work in the technology sales arena and assist in the transition from a perpetual to a subscription based company, then this may be a good opportunity for youReporting to the regional vice president of sales: conversions, the regional account manager: enterprise conversions is responsible for achieving both the target sales revenue and sustainable growth results within their territoryThis will include leading sales cycles, articulating transitional value of a subscription model to customers, and differentiating trimble offerings in the market.
Primary responsibilities:
Prospect and create awareness within existing perpetual customer base
Understand the value of the subscription conversion program and clearly articulate it to customers, while being able to overcome objections
Prepare quotes, contracts, and responses for existing customers
Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
Maintain an adequate understanding of all conversion products available, as well as trimble transportation’s connected supply chain roadmap, and assist the customer base in making knowledgeable choices
Trade show support
Other relevant duties as assigned
Required skills:
Laser focused on customer success
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years software sales experience
Outstanding understanding of cloud base architecture
Consistent and demonstrated track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience in selling software to the transportation, for hire trucking, erp, and/or logistics market
Excellent oral & written communications skills along with excellent people skills
