What you will do: as part of transamerica’s team you will partner with business, technology and project teams to drive operations transformation initiatives in alignment with strategic objectives.
What success looks like:
Represent transamerica as a business expert both internally and with external parties with an emphasis in understanding and managing the implementation of digital business solutions and requirements to deliver capabilities across the insurance value chain.
Manage sprint scope, planning, and execution driving successful implementations within the transamerica architecture as well as, dependent and integrated environments with third party administrators and/or distribution partners.
Design user stories, business requirements, business process flows, wireframes, data requirements, and other artifacts core to insurance process execution and stakeholder experience and implement including user testing in partnership with transamerica technology and / or external technical vendors.
Translate business needs into system requirements documentation; provide information to end users in an easy-to-understand way.
Encourage and facilitate pods of subject matter experts and stakeholders who are focused on positive outcomes and relationships across the organization.
Serve as a point of contact for escalation issues from the third party; help manage the daily monitoring of activity with business and third party.
Research business problems and strategic objectives to develop business case elements, to include business problem, outcomes and benefits.
Seek out business areas, customers or third parties to uncover factors that may impact business solutions.
Act as a change agent and guide to build a cohesive network of working groups, comprised of subject matter experts and stakeholders, able to lead and support initiatives.
Define solutions and translate business needs into system requirements documentation.
Conduct gap analysis for improvements and report findingsContribute to cost benefit analysis to support recommendations.
Provide solution details to leadership and facilitate work prioritization.
Develop materials and deliver communication targeted to specific audiences.
May lead a team of individuals, including hiring and staff development.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
Five years of experience related to business process analysis, business analysis, project management, performance benchmarking, metrics, change management, operational transformation or strategic alignment.
Thorough knowledge of technical/system environments, terminology and infrastructures.
Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business, technology and project teams.
Writing skills to develop communication materials and report research findings in a compelling way.
Analytical and research skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to push past face value of obstacles and explore solutions from stakeholder or system perspectives.
Proficiency in ms office.
Preferred qualifications:
Management experience.
Experience working on large scale projects within operations or technology.
Flmi designation.
Change management or lean certification.
Working environment:
Employees will be assigned to one of the following work location designations:
In office employees will perform all of their work at a company office location.
Hybrid employees will need to work at a company office location at times and a remote work location (typically their home) at times.
Commuting remote employees will need to report to a company office location at times, but will perform their work primarily remotely.
Non-commuting remote employees will not be assigned to report to a company office location (although they may need to travel to a company office upon request) and will perform their work remotely.
Compensation

Compensation
The salary rate for this position generally ranges between $66,000 - $109,000This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by lawThe range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by colorado equal pay transparency rule 4.1.2.
Bonus eligibility
This position is also typically eligible for annual bonus based on the company bonus plan/individual performance and is at company discretion.
