In this opportunity, you will be the key business partner for the assigned segment or regional team supporting financial planning and analysisActivities include:
End-to-end management and reconciliation of general ledger, ensuring spend is tagged appropriately and tracking to target
Forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, assessing the risk of under/overspending
Providing a scorecard / spend analysis to finance and marketing leadership, facilitating the understanding of marketing readiness, financial data, and trends, including roi
Assist in providing and interpreting financial data to support business cases and incremental budget requests
Projecting variances in spend and potential favourability, calling out opportunities to reallocate investment
Working with the marketing effectiveness team to provide suggestions on efficient use of investment
Optimization and management of team budget trackers / tracking methods
Supporting the onboarding and management of the planning and budgeting platform
Communicating and providing training on process establishments and ongoing iterations
Acting as the conduit between marketing and finance
Providing support for tr change related budget queries
Skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in business or finance related education preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Direct experience in marketing, business or finance, b2b industry a plus.
Proven experience navigating complex and matrixed businesses.
Proactive personality and proven experience interacting with geographically diverse and senior stakeholders.
Clear understanding of financial processes and capabilities.
Strong working knowledge of microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, teams).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to prioritize, complete tasks independently with a high degree of accuracy, work with attention to detail, and deal with ambiguity.
