Summary
The director, cmd regional marketing apj, has responsibility for performing regional marketing strategy, campaign planning, execution, and all related demand generation activitiesThe role will collaborate with business unit marketing and commercial resulting in measurable impact on revenue and market share gainsThis role provides deep expertise and execution on digital marketing initiatives across the entire region and will include: direct marketing, telemarketing, as well as collaborate on regional forecasting and goal settingThis role will also provide regional marketing perspective on market dynamics, opportunities, customer requirements and sales force pipeline needs.
Crucial duties and responsibilities
Lead, mentor and coordinate all regional marketing resources in apj.
Support cmd’s commercial strategy in apj, being accountable for all marketing metrics and goals in that region.
Accountable for the marketing budget in apj for demand generation and growth-related initiatives in the region.
Lead the region on developing and implementing a digital marketing plan to drive growth in the region, working with divisional marketing, commercial and business units.
Collaborate with business unit marketing to develop annual marketing strategy and plans to achieve revenue and pipeline growth.
Lead the commercialization process in apj, working together with other marketing resources, sales, communications and product managers to support new product introduction.
Support and partner with the marketing and sales team to develop appropriate commercialization strategies and tactics to drive growth, to improve coverage and penetration.
Implement regional marketing programs targeting segments that drive demand generation, pipeline health and new contacts for cmd.
Implement digital-based nurturing programs and telemarketing campaigns targeted at cmd’s install base as well as cold or unqualified leads to strengthen the pipeline.
Drive value performance for key marketing programs and product launches together with global marketing operations.
Provide quarterly market and driven updates pertaining to technology trends, new products, compelling applications, or adjacent market opportunities.
Conduct regional voc directly or in collaboration with other marketing teams to assess the impact of product positioning, brand equity, customer satisfaction and marketing effectiveness.
Share effective regional strategies, and high value campaign approaches with the global and regional marketing teams around the world.
Minimum education and experience requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or chemistry; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years work experience in marketing with deep expertise in digital marketing and demand generationPrior experience in global and/or regional strategy development.
Strong domain experience and a track record in strategy development, marketing planning, program execution and metrics.
Experience in life sciences, scientific instrumentation, pharma, biopharma or healthcare desired.
Demonstrated experience in driving campaign results targeting specific market segments that include web, search, social media, advertising, and events.
Ability to travel 20% to 30%.
