As we create a colorful, capable and cleaner world through chemistry, we invite you to join our team to harness the power of chemistry to shape markets, redefine industries and improve lives for billions of people around the worldThe chemours company headquartered in wilmington, de has a dynamic position available for a highly motivated and experienced north america key account sales managerThe position can be located remotely or in wilmington deThis is a highly visible, strategic role that is north america based, but has significant coordination and alignment of sales processes across global oem accountsReporting to the north america sales director, the north america oem key account manager will be responsible for both strategic and tactical activities, including building strong relationships, executing evergreen strategic plans, communicating customer needs, engaging with channel partners, and driving growth opportunities with large multi-national equipment manufactures headquartered in north americaThe responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop comprehensive, multi-year, global account plans that align with regional and global marketing plans, including ever-green oem leadership engagement plans.
Align regional and global teams on oem account objectives, including coaching and influencing regional team sales account managers
Manage and drive account related activities to successful closure.
Manage key customer interfaces and relationships, both lateral and vertically
Key member of the opteon™ related growth projects.
Manage all aspects of account receivables
Provide direct input into monthly forecast process – including trend analysis, market indicators, and competitive dynamics.
Manage all aspects of supply contracts/agreements including maintaining confidentiality agreements and joint development agreements.
Provide marketing insights on the total opportunity, percent share owned by supplier, and future development needs.
The following is required for this role:
A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of sales experience managing multinational companies or large accounts/segments.
Experience with managing contracts and executing complex supply agreements
Strong negotiations skills
Key relationship influence experience
Outstanding cross-functional organizational skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to grasp regulations and technical concepts
Effective at managing ambiguity
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
Prior experience in the hvacr industry
Demonstrated ability to manage lead and opportunity pipelines with crm tools.
