Your opportunity
Glumac is seeking a senior mechanical engineer - healthcare market sector leaderThis role is open to various office locations as well as remote work.
Your impact
This role will entail:
Engineer of record.
Mechanical engineering candidates must have a solid understanding of hvac designs and commercial systems with applications in a variety of projects to include but not limited to: health care, higher education, data centers, mission critical, and central utility plant experience.
Project management
Responsible for the communication necessary with all parties to ensure a successful project.
Directly or indirectly involved in writing the proposal and fee.
Responsible for direct and regular interaction with the client.
Have a solid understanding of the scope of the work to be performed.
Work directly with projecting accountants / accounting to ensure that a profitable project is achieved.
Coordination and management of the team and any others involved in the project.
Ensure the team has the necessary tools and receives regular and timely information to produce a successful project.
Main point of contact for the project.
In-depth knowledge of the financial aspect of the project to ensure financial success of the project.
Responsible for delivering an end project that satisfies the client.
Work directly with the principal in charge throughout the project to ensure the success of the project.
Proven leadership experience and managerial experience are a must.
Knowledge and experience must include using software such as autocad, revit, and ms office to perform complex calculations, proficiency in building and mechanical codes and standards, superior client-facing/client relationship/client management skills, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Leads assigned project teams as they perform their tasks and participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
Participate in activities and organizations related to our industry outside of daily business routine, developing peer relationships, technical growth, and business contacts.
What you bring – qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
Followed by 15-20+ years of experience within the aec industry with a consulting engineering or a/e firm, to include marketing and business development.
Current professional engineer (pe) license.
Market sector lead
Strong healthcare background.
Strong advanced technology.
Leed accreditation is a plus.
Well certification is a plus.
