The opportunity
The accounting manager will oversee all aspects of the month end close pertaining to revenue and bad debt and work closely with the billing, cash and collections teamsThis role will be a key player on the revenue team and a `go to` for many ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
Lead all month-end close and general ledger reconciliation processes pertaining to revenue/bad debt
Review financial statements and trend analysis to ensure proper reporting and understanding of the business
Establish and track key metrics related to the close to increase efficiency and drive process improvement
Lead process improvement; automation initiatives; and systems enhancements for greater accuracy, financial control and efficiency
Perform sox controls, including leading ongoing testing and assessments of effectivenessCoordinate closely with internal audit.
Help coordinate and manage quarterly reviews and annual audit performed by external auditors
Review and perform audit analysis, reconciliations, and audit support documentation
Support sec reporting schedules on a consolidated basis
Perform accounting and financial projects as assigned
Assist in erp integration
Candidate profile
Understanding of financial concepts, financial reporting, and best practices
Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills
Experience working with accounting software and databases
Superior data management and data analysis skills
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail with a passion for accuracy
Able to manage working multiple projects at a time
Able to work in a fast-paced, always changing environment
5+ years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
Excellent excel knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
Cpa preferred
The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, rsu’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: teladoc health benefits 2022Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certificationsThis information is applicable for all full-time positions.
