Full job description

1Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payment, invoicing, and month end financial closing.
2Oversee financial department employees, including accountants and interns.
3Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
4Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
5Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
6Research and analyze financial reports and market trends
7Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
8Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
9Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings
10Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
11Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
12Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
13Experienced in handling letter of credit and bank guarantees.
Skills technical competencies & qualifications:
Qualifications: chartered accountant (ca) must and should
1Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a
Related field.
2Superior mathematical skills, leadership skills and experience.
3Employee management skills.
4Solid communication skills, both written and verbal along with public speaking
5Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
6Superior computer skills.
7Excellent auditing skills and construction industry experience.
