Today, we`re actively partnered with an industry leader in engineering within the building industry, looking to add experience to their mechanical engineering department, in the form of a senior mechanical engineer & mentorIn short, we`re looking for an experienced p.eTo join an accomplished team in a role that has a balance of leadership, mentorship & production!
This role is a hybrid role with occasional travel to our office(s) in minneapolis, but can be considered primarily remote in nature.
Senior mechanical engineer duties
Lead project teams for mechanical projects (and multi-disciplined projects), maintaining accountability for technical, quality, financial & safety results.
Mentor & share your knowledge with less experienced engineers within the mechanical department.
Collaborate with organizational leadership in an effort to expand our service(s) appropriately.
Lead the design effort for complex mechanical systems (i.eChillers, boilers, central utility plants, industrial ventilation systems, etc.)
Other duties as necessary
Senior mechanical engineer qualifications
7+ years of mechanical engineering experience within the commercial/industrial architectural space (central utility plant experience preferred)
Professional engineer required (p.e.)
Experience utilizing multiple engineering software applications is a big plus
Degree in engineering
12+ years of mechanical engineering experience is preferred
Must be p.eIn minnesota, wisconsin, or illinois
