Job responsibilities
Use quantitative approaches to integrate knowledge of pk, pd, efficacy, safety, patient’s demographics, and pathophysiological factors to facilitate product development and decision making.
Perform complex modeling and simulations according to state-of-the-art methods and regulatory requirements.
Develop tools to improve modeling practices.
Participate in the development of structured and standardized data modeling practices and related standard operating procedures (sops.)
Act as a pharmacometric consultant in clinical pharmacology study design (e.gOptimal sampling, protocol review, etc.)
Perform comprehensive quality control/peer review procedures.
Author data analysis plans.
Support the company pharmacometrics initiatives toward internal and external clients.
Support the pharmacokineticists and biostatisticians concerning pharmacometrics.
Participate to research and development initiatives in the field of pharmacometrics, resulting in peer-reviewed publications.
Maintain a sound working relationship with the statisticians and pharmacokineticists.
Act as a mentor/coach in the field of pharmacometrics for pharmacometrician and pharmacokineticists.
The employee may be called upon to perform other tasks related to their skill set, and for which he/she has been trained.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
Ph.dIn pharmacometrics, mathematics, statistics or related field
Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable
Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of microsoft word and excel and mathematical/statistical programming languages (e.gNonmem, monolix, r, matlab)
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince and persuade
Experience in regulatory context will be considered an asset
Required english language level includes communicating verbally and in writing on topics that are often technical, and writing procedures or technical reports.
