Svaya is looking for experienced electronics engineer to design and implement high performance mixed-signal embedded systems for power electronics, automation, and drive controls in our robotsIdeal candidate will have a blend of strong analytical and design skills and have an exceptional attention to detailYou will closely work with other hardware and firmware engineers for planning and completing the physical integration and as well as carrying out thorough testing in real world conditions.
Develop and implement board level solutions, with an emphasis on schematic design, component selection and pcb layout of mixed signal, analog and digital circuits for human-augmenting robotics and automation systems.
Responsible for hands-on design, review, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, verification and validation testing as well as manufacturing start-up support.
Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines and communicate design priorities and/or approach and provide constructive guidance.
Coordinate with manufacturing engineering and as well as suppliers.
Key skills & experience
4+ years of hands-on experience in design and development of mixed signal circuits.
Experience in design and development of high-speed communication bus
Experience with design of power electronics circuits.
Experience with design and implementation of redundant safety electronics.
Experience evaluating off-the-shelf electrical/ electronic components and systems for development prototypes.
Develops efficient, elegant and scalable solutions to complex problems.
Willingness to take on new challenges and solve unfamiliar problems.
Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environmen.
Experience with embedded microprocessors, memory systems, analog circuits, schematic capture, and hi-speed pcb layout.
Good knowledge of motion and force sensors and transducers.
Understanding of design challenges, such as low-noise electronics in a mixed-signal environment, high-speed and low-power design, process variation / mismatch.
Experience with altium is a plus.
Fpga design experience, verilog/vhdl.
Electrical wiring, cabling design/harnessing (low voltage/high voltage) and smt soldering.
Experience in passing emi and emc.
Be or mtech (or higher) in the field(s) of electrical engineering, electronics & communications or related field.
