Responsibilities
Utilize site performance monitoring and alerting tools to monitor sites
Utilize field service tracking and resolution systems to efficiently resolve service requests
Consistently and thoroughly document field service activities and results through reports and field service tools
Develop and maintain understanding of operation and maintenance of sunfolding equipment (mechanical, pneumatics, controls)
Perform onsite system review and troubleshooting
Identify needed equipment, and work with internal teams to source and deliver parts to site
Provide construction oversight, and perform critical quality review of installed sunfolding equipment and document non-conformances
Oversee and supervise subcontractors.
Provide input on construction/maintenance tools, equipment, procedures
Provide input/review of customer facing construction and operation documentation
Provide additional field support wherever needed
Education, skills and experience
Bachelor`s/associate degree in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering or related discipline preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience working independently in a field setting;
Knowledge of national electrical code and standard design/construction practices
Skilled reader of technical drawings and documents
Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
Osha 10 hr training
Completes work with very high attention to detail and thoroughness
Employs systematic approach to troubleshooting
Clear communicator, both verbal and written
Understands basic electrical circuits and physical failure points
Understands basic network systems and physical failure points
Understands basic mechanical systems and operation (motors, pneumatics, structural components)
