Job summary you will be part of the team that is responsible for the optimization of processes and the integration of derived data used in designated operations, risk and investment management interfacesYou will help provide solutions and execute implementation of business requirements to ensure the readiness, integrity and quality of the data required in these interfaces to achieve client, business and regulatory needsAs a member of this group you will ensure that a high level of support is providedYou are encouraged to work independently, to play a part/role in cross-functional initiatives and participate in ongoing projectsYou will be a right fit if you have a combination of knowledge and/or work experience in reference data management and governanceKey responsibilities
Perform and monitor entity set-ups, ensure data flow happens correctly between all upstream and downstream applications
Perform uat and document test results
Create reports for stakeholders and fix reference data issues
Respond in a timely fashion to queries from multiple internal operational groups
Commit to the implementation and execution of daily data validation processes and quality controls
Collaborate with various internal business units and information technology teams in order to streamline and optimize existing and new business workflow and processes globally
Seek managerial feedback and bring up issues in a timely manner to achieve risk excellence
Willing to operate as an individual contributor
Leading and providing guidance to junior analysts on assigned tasks
Consult with partners globally and use your execution skills to continuously improve our data governance and data management capabilities
Demonstrate your experience in business analysis, process re-engineering and automation initiatives
Working with data stewards, data consumers and policy-makers to reduce risk and strengthen process
Performing analysis and creating documents which outline our current and future state business modelDocuments could include data analysis, business requirements, user stories, quality assurance, data flow and end-user documentation
Skill/ competency requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees are an asset.
8+ years’ experience in the investment management industry, preferably in investment operations.
Ideal candidate would have strong expertise and experience in reference data.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills required
Proficiency with ms excel, ms access, vba and sql will be considered strong assets
Ability to work under pressureDetail oriented and task driven.
Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines.
Ability to network and build strong working relationships.
Shift: 3 pm to 12 amt; hybrid work environmentNeed to be flexible to work with apac and us stakeholders
