Regulatory & business conduct

Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
Fixed income and equities trading desk, coo team and various t&i delivery teams by project/system.
Other responsibilities
Define and maintain “release management framework”, basic principles and standards to drive release management.
Forward plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio, build the it release calendar / roadmap, maintain “release calendar”.
Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
Define, maintain and communicate “release checklist” to ensure high standards and full transparency.
Negotiate, plan and manage all release approval activities
Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time, and that they meet or exceed expectations
Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, qa plans, schedule, and scope changes
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go reviews
Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
Lead, co-ordinate and verify the go-live activities including the execution of the deployment plans, checklists, run books, release note, implementation & rollback plans, built, packaged, and readied for deployment.
Create the change request and participate in cab meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.
Maintain a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, checklists, release note and notification lists
Perform release retrospect, determine release and process improvements
Track production incidents, coordinate incident update meetings and status during the release warranty period
Coordinate uvt with users, ba, dev and pss.
Responsible for the overall handling of a specific deployment
Release communication: weekly release updates, release note, release updates during release, post release prod issue list, etc
Manage the development and test environments.
