Work with margin ops bau team on large exceptions and reconciliation breaks to the senior management as per the matrix defined.
Perform daily recs and reporting bau activities for margin ops with adherence to internal procedures.
Ensure tasks are carried out within policies and procedures avoiding costs due to delays, compensation claims and operational losses.
Adherence to key processes and control requirement.
Timely completion of on-the-job trainings and mandatory learnings.
Ensure cordial relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
Support, co-ordinate and execute change programmes with multiple stakeholders as required.
Effectively handle clientinternalexternal queries and complains.
Challenge existing process and continuously seek opportunity to improve processes and controls.
Ensure timely completion, maintenance, and renewal of doi, r&r and sla documents.
Participate and engage in process deep dive review with risk and control functions, support on audit queries.

Our ideal candidate
At least 8 years of working experience in financial services operations finance rolesDesirable experience in operations risk, collateral management, derivatives management, middle office, and banking operations.
Sound understanding of financial services, banking industry or margin and portfolio reconciliation requirements.
Sound understanding of the functioning of various financial asset classes, trade life cycle, and front to bank processing.
Understanding of margin and portfolio reconciliation requirements under doff-frank, emir, hkma, mas, etc.
Good understanding of change management programmes and project governances.
Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior management, and other stakeholders within the organisation.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written & spoken communication, good team player and self-motivated.
Knowledge of operational processes, operational risks, and controls.
