The speed of adoption of electric vehicles (evs) is critical to achieving deep decarbonization of the transport sectorPassengers vehicles emit 10% - 15% of total global greenhouse gas emissions and transportation is the leading source of carbon emissions in the united statesEven with all the government support around the world, not enough evs are projected to be sold to get to net zero emissions and limit warming to 1.5 degrees cOur goal is to achieve the adoption rate needed to get to net zero emissions and reduce emissions by about one gigaton by 2030.
Evs are now at a tipping point where the total cost of ownership can be lower than gas or diesel-powered vehiclesSpring free ev takes advantage of the additional value in an ev to lower the upfront cost for driversWe do this by providing a two-sided marketplace matching ev driver interest with esg capitalThe ev auto asset class we are creating is critical to decarbonizing the transportation sector and accelerating the adoption of ev’sThe company is commercializing its first product, a mileage purchase agreement (“mpa”), which is a flexible lease for fleet managers to pay by the mile.
Spring free ev launched in october 2021 and is off to a great start on our goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1 gigaton by 2030Proof of concept includes more than $6m deployed from some of silicon valley’s top investors (reid hoffman, mark pincus, and ev williams) and over 100 vehicles being deployed across 9 states.
Sales advisor
Spring free ev seeks a motivated self-starter to join our team as its sales advisorThis candidate is someone who has experience working with a broad set of partners and providing them support through all phasesThe successful candidate should be comfortable discussing complex financial details in laymen`s terms and be self-motivated to continue pushing for more partnersThe role will require working with the overall automotive delivery ecosystem to help manage and secure our critical fleet manager partnerships that drive our business forward.
Roles & responsibilities
Excite, engage, and educate prospective customers and current fleet managers on spring free ev’s product offering and electric vehicles.
Help maintain a healthy sales pipeline by actively engaging with customers through calls, emails, or text, and any outbound events.
Deliver the company’s go to market strategy by on-boarding of new fleet managers and support existing fleet managers nationally.
Provide a highest level of customer service throughout the full sales, delivery, and operating lifecycle.
Actively contribute to team sales and deployment targets.
Skills & experience
The ideal candidate will have a customer-facing background that enables them to deeply understand customer problems and challenges, drive customer and partner engagement from start to finish, and demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionallyInteract at both the executive level and with fleet managers.
2+ years experience with consumer and enterprise sales, partnership management and support for a product technology company
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and pursue opportunities as they appear efficiently with follow through and success
Thrived in a fast-paced environment that has ambiguity and a need to adapt
Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts
Experience in the development of new marketplaces and or saas offerings
