Position summary
Would you like an exciting career with a company whose mission is to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities? as an account manager at sourceamerica, you will provide account management of abilityone contracts; increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities by ensuring customer and business partner satisfaction; develop new and existing opportunities; promote the abilityone program and assist nonprofit agencies (npas) in maintaining program and statutory complianceWe are looking for someone with an extensive knowledge of federal contracting to assist npa partners and federal government customers with abilityone program-specific issues.
Here are some of the functions of this position; a full position description will be given to candidates in the interview process.
Essential functions
Oversee all assigned customer account activities as detailed in the “standard operations procedures for account management - services” (sopams)Position will be monitored by the director of operations, srManager, or designee.
Be the main point of contact for all assigned contract actions with nonprofit organizations, government personnel, and commission customers
Coordinate all activities regarding assigned contracts/customers and stakeholders
Required education, experience, and skills
Associates degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution in lieu of applicable skills trainingSourceamerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the required education
5 years of relevant work experience required
Preferred education, experience, and skills
Bachelor`s degree from an accredited institution in lieu of applicable skill training
7+ years of relevant work experience preferred
Knowledge about the abilityone program
Working knowledge of the service contract act and fair labor standards act, federal acquisition regulations (far), and abilityone procedures
Working knowledge of the federal procurement process
Experience with government agencies within the federal marketplace
Experience with strategic planning and creating results driven tactical plans
Vaccination requirement
