Be the subject matter expert for technical inquiry assistance
Act as technical liaison among engineering, marketing, and product management
Technical submittals to engineering & other groups in technology trends in market, customer needs, identifications on technical challenges in customer projects and propose proper solution

Duties & responsibilities
Review in detail, customer project specifications as they apply to products and build up a data base
Collect all technical inquires to build data base by using salesforce.com (sfdc)
Market search on market & customer roadmaps, products, technical specification and their major technical challenges on ic test solutions
Market search on new technologies, material, and development works on test solutions, potential for applications on our products
Market search on ic test equipment developments and their impacts or applications on our products
Provide reports per market search results and proposals
Participate in key issues task force to provide technical supports as needed
Attend development project meetings to collect information, provide supports, perform any tasks assigned.
Conduct product training for new hires and refresher course for existing team members.
Provide other supports to engineering leaders
Perform preliminary analysis and simulations as initial verification on new concepts
Review patent applications and manage patent data bases as other ip protection related tasks

The individual
Bachelor`s degree in engineering, major in mechanicals or electric preferred, with 10-20 years experience in semiconductor ic testing fixture & contact technologies or related industries.
Ability to follow and provide detailed written or verbal instructions and communicate effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, balances team, and individual responsibilities
Strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry, testing, testing socket or other fixtures, contact technologies, especially on signal integrity.
Ability to make a sound decisions and accurate judgments
Ability to understand and conduct engineering analysis and simulations, such as fea, signal integrity simulations
Strong self-learning capabilities
Strong ability to establish stakeholder relationship
