Support the regional dei director and local hr colleagues to implement dei initiatives in svb india
Help identify opportunities to build svb india’s employment lifecycle more inclusive
Partner with the svb india communications lead to develop and deliver dei communications aligned to the svb india dei communications strategy and annual communications plan
Work with teams across svb to evolve india’s dei data collection, usage and insights
Help establish local chapters of svb’s global employee resource groups (ergs) in svb india and other regions
Support the running of the svb india dei governance forum
Identify opportunities to shape and improve the svb india’s dei strategy and general approach
Support the delivery of ad hoc dei projects across geographies outside india and the us
Good understanding of workforce diversity, equity and inclusion principles and concepts
Awareness of inclusion barriers that exist for different members of historically underrepresented groups
Understanding of the processes that underpin the steps of the employment lifecycle e.gResourcing, performance management
Good understanding of project and change management methodologies and tools
Appreciation of the cultural nuances that relate to dei in india and other svb geographies outside of the us (china, canada, ireland, israel, germany, denmark and uk).
Skills and experiences
Exceptional interpersonal skills (friendly, tactful, good negotiator, ability to influence others)
Experience building relationships with cross-functional hr departments
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAble to distill large amounts of different information into sharp key messages
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time
Demonstrated ability to thrive and perform in an ever-changing, fast-paced and demanding environment.
Ability to draw meaningful insights from different diversity data sets
Sound judgement and ability to maintain confidential information
Bs/ba preferably in human resources (desirable)
