Responsible for defining key data elements (kde’s) and identifying data assets within their own data domains
Individual contributor role or get involved with team to focus on the deliverables and responsible for data quality and data accuracy across a set of business data elements
Responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of a business data dictionary that is aligned to physical data assets and the business glossary for the definition and maintenance of a group`s data landscape including end-to-end data flows/transformations and data lineage
Partners with the data governance team to ensure solutions adhere to the organization’s data principles and guidelines
Owns group`s data assets including reports, data warehouse
Responsible for solving data related issues and communicating resolutions with other solution domains
Definition and implementation of data quality controls
Triage and prioritization of data issues
Skills
Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data management practices
Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
Knowledge of how to create data standards, determine business data requirements, and establish business rules
Ability to work collaboratively with analysts, architects, modelers, business and technical teams
Proficiency in sql for generating quality assessments and insight generation
Excellent communication skills with both business and technical audiences
Subject matter knowledge of bank operations and/or financial services
Ability to demonstrate multiple tools to create and maintain necessary data stewardship outputs
Experience working within a data or reporting team as an analyst, modeler or data steward
Experience creating and using data models and data definitions
Experience with improving data quality and resolving data deficiencies
Experience with data lifecycle management
Expertise in relationship building with different roles and level in the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness and attention to detail is desired
Good communication skills
Provides direction to junior team members
Tools and technology:
Experience or knowledge in any data governance or data quality tools preferred experience in any of the data analytics projects with experience in any of the data governance or data quality tools (ex: collibra, idq, ataccama, data ladder, ibm infosphere quality stage (ibm ia), informatica master data management, open refine, sas data management, talend data quality, cloudingo.)

Data analytics - data governance & data quality
Financial industry experience - hands on experience with data governance tools - experience in data remediation efforts
Education requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or technology; master’s preferred
5-10 years of experience in financial industry
Demonstrated experience in production data operations
Experience with regulated systems in the financial industry a plus.
