As an application/ development engineer, you‘ll be the onsite customer technical support for cooper lighting solutions leading international projects with an understanding of product requirements from a technical perspectiveWe’re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.

What you’ll do
Provide technical support to cooper lighting and other customers while understanding the product requirements and processes, translate, and clearly deliver those requirements to the team in china.
Bridge daily communication between cooper and china team in any technical related discussions, evaluate potential problems and provide solutions
Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
Contribute to the development of product from a technical perspective
Support local account manager in business development and other activities
Your qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or other related technical discipline
Minimum of 3 years of experience preferably in the led lighting industry, preferably in an applications or technical development role
Fluency in chinese is highly desired
Self-driven and proven success working remotely and with remote teams
Able to work under constant time differences with china
Experience or knowledge of ul certification process/regulations for lighting product is a plus
