What you will do:
Provide support in developing and executing communications to advance employee engagementDraft messages to inform nnsa employees, through multiple communications vehicles, about internal agency actions that affect the workplace.
Draft blog posts
Draft correspondence and message marketing material (pamphlets, brochures, charts, briefing material, posters, and flyers).
Assist in managing core communications vehicles, including internal webpages (sharepoint and powerpedia), and broadcast messages.
Draft employee facing messagesMaintain current and accurate internal webpages.
Organize, communicate, and provide periodic site logistical support for enterprise-wide meetings.
Logistical arrangements (space, audio/visual equipment and systems, event set-up); invitation lists, rsvps.
Working knowledge of programs necessary for website updates, document creation, and graphics design.
Website is kept up to date and accurateDocuments are created in the appropriate program.
Maintain distribution lists.
Lists are updated every two weeks per hr provided staffing updates.
What you need (minimum requirements):
3 - 5 years of experience in internal communications, journalism, or social media.
Excellent writing, editing, and oral communications skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
Security clearance: not required but have ability to obtain.
