National franchise development manager
We are currently looking for a national franchise development manager to oversee the market expansion for our brandsIn this role, you`ll have the opportunity to develop the national strategy and drive the sales process from lead acquisition, through negotiations to final contractingThe successful candidate will be responsible for selling franchise licenses to new and existing franchisees, conversion businesses, improving market penetration, defining a process-led approach to capture targeted territories, and managing new franchises’ end-to-end processThe role will also drive relationships with private equity partnerships seeking to invest in our servicemaster clean brand.
The ideal candidate has in-depth institutional knowledge of the commercial services industry and franchising.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
Develop and execute expansion plans and strategies for priority markets on a national basis.
Develop, fill, and maintain the pipeline of new franchisees and investors, which includes driving new franchise sales from the first lead to the close of the franchise sale.
Maintain and utilize crm tools ensuring efficient and agile lead flow.
Lead origination pitch iterations to potential new franchisees and investors.
Engage in due diligence of all new potential owners to ensure success-oriented owners are brought into the franchise.
Work with the compliance and legal departments to ensure the integrity of documentation and contracts.
Partner with the brand operations teams to understand and source the “ideal” franchisee candidate profile for the brand.
Required knowledge/skills/abilities:
Experience negotiating and seeking compromise collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders.
A proven ability to vet and validate quality leads, prospects, and buyers.
The ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships with all levels of prospects in an organization, including the c-suite
Strong analytical and storytelling skills, being able to synthesize information for higher management and prospect investors.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment in which requirements and priorities continuously change.
Education and experience:
Undergraduate bachelor’s degree.
7+ years of franchise sales or development experience.
10 years of experience in the janitorial or commercial services industry preferred.
Working conditions:
Domestically travel (25% time).
