The product marketing manager will support a range of activities, from analyzing market trends, defining customer needs and evaluating the competitive landscape to developing product roadmaps and pricing proposals as well as develop and implement growth strategies.
Oversees marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
Oversees business plans and product positioning in the marketplace
Oversees market research activities, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs
Establishes pricing strategies
Experience / qualifications
A university degree and 6+ years of experience (i.eBachelors degree) or a graduate degree and 4-6 years of experience (i.eMasters degree) or a higher level degree and 2-4years of experience (i.eDoctorate degree)
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in microsoft office programs (outlook, word, powerpoint, and excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

The strategic product marketing manager will leverage strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, keen business acumen and inputs from a cross-functional global team to support a range of activities, from analyzing market trends, defining customer needs and evaluating the competitive landscape to developing winning product roadmaps and pricing strategiesHe/she will interface regularly with global marketing, engineering, sales and program management to position sensata technologies as the leading global provider of battery management systems.
