Overview: semaconnect is a top tier developer and producer of electric vehicle charging stations for the new generation of mass market electric vehicles, such as the tesla model 3, chevy bolt, audi e-tron and nissan leafWe are focused on commercial and public-grade charging stations that include advanced technology features such smart phone access, remote electricity metering, automated billing/payment, web-based software and wireless data communicationsOur target segments include commercial real estate, parking management, fortune 500 corporations, hotels, fleet operators and federal, state and local governments.
Responsibilities:
The territory sales manager will play a key role in expanding semaconnect`s sales programThis position will be responsible for business development in the virginia / dc marketThe successful candidate will identify well qualified prospects and drive sales of a high technology product into traditional market segmentsThe ideal candidate will have 5-10 years previous experience, selling into segments that include commercial real estate, fortune 500 corporation, hospitality, multi-family real estate and developersThis is a great position for an eager, ambitious sales mangaer to establish a growing territory and to have tremendous growth potential with a national and growing company.
Responsibilities
Develop a thorough understanding of semaconnect’s high-tech ev charging station product line
Develop tactics in coordination with the marketing team for growing awareness, interest and demand for semaconnect’s products
Identify well qualified prospects in the commercial real estate (multifamily, office, retail and development), parking management and corporation market segments
Establish contact with key decision makers for sustainability programs within prospective organizations
Create and deliver concise and compelling sales presentations for prospective customers
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Develop long-term customer relationships through exceptional post-sales support and service
Communicate frequently across the semaconnect business development, sales and marketing team to share best practices and lessons learned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
3 to 5 years of work experience in outside direct sales or sales management
Ability to travel 40% of time
Track record of successful technical and consultative sales performance
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-starter with ability to organize and prioritize sales efforts for maximum effectiveness
Demonstrated ability to explain complicated technical subject matter in a simple concise manner
Willingness to work very hard in a new highly competitive industry to achieve sales targets
Exceptional ability to connect with high level decision makers and convey confidence, sincerity and credibility in representing semaconnect’s products and services
Experience selling to sustainability professionals, a plus
Experience selling into commercial real estate markets, a plus
Leed ap credentials, a plus
