At the seat of the soul institute, when we think about community, we think about the biggest community and we are looking to co-create with someone who shares that expanded view to be our programs & community engagement managerThe programs & community engagement manager will be tech-savvy, experienced with social media, and community program events.
Collaborating with our remote and diverse team, the programs & community engagement manager will jump right in to support the launch of our online community platform, and will ensure that both new and existing members feel supported by the content and resources provided.

The programs & community engagement manager will also collaborate with our marketing and development teams to create targeted campaigns, engage with the community both in the online membership platform as well as our social media and email accounts, and build relationships by learning more about our programs, courses and events to better understand the needs and goals of the community.
Availability and flexibility to support 30 hours a week
Email & social media inbox management
Answering member questions & assisting with technical issues if needed
Managing membership programs, payments, subscriptions & refunds
Creating & maintaining sops (standard operating procedures) for your tasks
Create engaging and shareable content for monthly newsletters and/or program and event promotions
Coordinating with the marketing team to create and schedule mass communication broadcasts, such as emails & social media posts
Monitor social media campaigns and analyze web traffic from the online community using key performance indicators (kpis)
Assisting other team members with their daily tasks when needed
Build and manage relationships with program participants and volunteer team members
Moderate the online community discussions
Identify and track relevant community metrics (e.gRepeat attendance at events)
Develop creative, engaging and original content

2+ years proven work experience as a community manager (or related experience in communications or social media management)
Experience launching community initiatives (e.gBuilding an online community or ambassador program, writing an email newsletter, etc.)
Proven experience with using g suite (google drive, gmail, google docs, forms, etc.)
Experience with activecampaign a plus
Work from home
